Fair Trade and Organic Chocolate and Cocoa

Only carefully selected ingredients from sources of recognized organic cultivation are used in our chocolate; for example fine Mascobado pure-cane sugar and high-grade cocoa. This organic chocolate is completely natural, without the addition of any artificial flavourings or soy-lecithin.

From being a luxury foodstuff to a daily snack for when hunger hits, today chocolate is an affordable snack and literally "on everyone's lips." This success story has a bitter downside for the producers of the most important raw materials for making chocolate: speculation and over-production across the world have sunken market prices for cocoa and sugar. Just Us! fair-trade chocolate is different: the cocoa and sugar producers are paid a price significantly higher than that on the world market, they receive cost supplements for environmental and social projects, and long-term supply contracts as well as partial pre-financing of their harvests.

Organic Cocoa

Cocoa passes through many lands on the "Camino" (which means road or pathway in Spanish) from the farmer to the consumer. La Siembra Cooperative believes in ethical trading relationships all along the path. Their milk and whey powders are purchased from local dairy cooperatives. The cornerstone of their products is their Organic and Fair Trade cocoa powder which comes from two fair Trade and Organic cooperatives. Great rich chocolate for all your baking needs.

Baking Cocoa is available in 224g tins.

Hot Chocolate Mix

Contains 70% organic ingredients, with organic cocoa and organic evaporated sugar cane.

Dark hot chocolate and Milk hot chocolate are available in 336g tins and 28g single serve pouches
